The ALRM was founded by Albert Trillat in 1969 in the aim to promote support orthopaedic research and to give its members the opportunity to acquire and communicate knowledge through courses, meetings and medical congresses.

Respecting the ideology of the founder, Henri Dejour and his students have continued the activities of the Association, regularly sponsoring the “Journées Lyonnaises de Chirurgie du Genou” which are consecrated to degenerative problems, patellar-femoral and meniscus-ligament pathologies.

Today, our organization is supported by orthopaedic surgeons from that same school but who work in private or university structures. The association of the private and public fields is a source of much enrichment and progress, requiring the surgeons to constantly re-evaluate their work.

The objective of this website is to improve exchanges within the field of orthopaedics, beyond and in continuation of the discussions and innovations developed during the Lyons meeting.

We would like this website to be a source of fruitful and active exchange for all.
